I think it is also an eternal question of mankind what we can invest our money in... Companies and their shares are surely among the best ideas because of so many reasons... However - as we have seen it - even a luxury car can be a profitable investment...
What are your ideas for intellectual excitement? (I cannot find out everything alone because my personality has got limits actually...)
