Rolls-Royce Wraith And Silver Seraph - The Middle-Class Of Rolls-Royce

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Now that Maybach are going to disappear Rolls-Royce remain nearly alone in the high-end segment... Probably one of the saddest moments in the history of Rolls-Royce... You will have to care about everything such as electric drive, biofuels or hydrogen... An immense burden... Rolls-Royce have never collapsed yet - so I guess it's time to grow towards a "middle-class model..." Or Rolls-Royce can remain nearly alone and represent mystery in the automobile industry...

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Tuning

Ladies and Gentlemen,

On very early Rolls-Royce models you had the feature that the grille could be closed entirely to warm up the engine - I love the idea... On the RR 102 EX the grille could be also closed to keep the batteries warm when it is necessary... Electricity and water don't match but probably you could reduce the weight of the batteries if they swam in a basin, let's say in oil...

Visit: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars - or they are going to visit you...

Critical Comment On The Theory Of Relativity

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Side mirrors on a spacecraft? Absolutely... Because everything that can be seen in a side mirror has got the speed of light - the spacecraft is before this scenery so it is a little bit faster... That means a little bit faster than the speed of light... (I guess more side mirrors mean a higher speed etc.)

For my part I would start such interstellar flights from an orbit over the Earth where you have zero-gravity and much starlight...

You can keep the return... And I would like to take a week free...

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - The Global Office

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I don't know how it can be but the iconic Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental tells me something: a large airplane (just like the Boeing 777 or the DC-10 Tristar) with an exciting and comfortable upper deck... Just like a fairy castle with a tower room...

The success of the Boeing 777 - The Global Office concept is tremendous and everybody is grateful for the enthousiasm of potential customers: both Boeing employees and the ones who have the opportunity to work onboard of such flying sky-scrapers... Only that the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental could be an even more prestigeous flying office building...

I could imagine the following interiors:

a) upper deck: flight deck, VIP cabins and office + SkyLoft: berths and lounge for employees,
b) main deck: wintergarden, 30 x 7 = 210 business class seats with complete office equipment and galleys, stairs,
c) cargo deck: conference room, crew rests and garage...

Which company can afford nowadays such an abundant and exclusive flying office? I cannot tell it to you exactly but they must have a very determined picture of their and the world's future and they must know that their products are also going to be needed in a sustainable economy, too...

Just one idea: plaid blankets...

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - My Point Of View

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Facing the question: "Speed or ecstasy?" you usually want to answer: "Both..."

However top speed is very difficult... Because speed means luxury actually but the top speed of a car results from the maximum power output of its engine and the various resistances - and you don't need to use everything... Just like you don't always need to use the entire boot either... So I think the top speed of a conventional Phantom of 240 km/h is abundant but the 160 km/h of the RR 102 EX might be more than enough, too...

Porsche Carrera - Everything Slanting Is Good

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am a little disappointed actually that the otherwise fabulous Porsche Carrera is not a real 4-seater sports coupé... However you need the space behind the front seats because the car is rear-engined and you cannot have the weight-point so much in the rear...

My idea is to lift the rear of the car at the rear wheel suspension (I guess a few millimeters were enough) when the space behind the front seats is occupied... That way you had got a new vector of kinetic or potential energy showing towards the front of the car... And this vector could move the weight point of the Porsche Carrera in a convenient position again...

Because a Porsche Carrera is otherwise a spacious and comfortable sports car...

Rolls-Royce Ghost And Phantom - A Clean Future

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Once you have got a fancy garage attached to your house as well then there could be an inline washing machine in this garage, too... Because I think that a car should be washed every day but at least every week... And it should be cleaned in the inside the same often...

O.k., so frequent car washes and inside cleanings mean an increased wearing out - but you can help this e.g. by waxing... A clean car is obviously more attractive than a dirty one - that means:

a) you spend less time at home,
b) you spend less time in the office and
c) you spend less time on the roads as well...

However you exchange the sceneries of your life more often and this means hopefully that you are more "vitalized..."

Having a clean car (also in terms of environmental protection) you can have a more intense social life (more friends), too such as your Rolls-Royce is more sensational, too - that means it attracts even more money...

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Tuning

Ladies and Gentlemen,

200 kms of range are maybe too few for a city like New York so you cannot do without a range-extender... Gas turbines even if they are micro-turbines are still loud - especially compared to V12-engines... A very small V12-engine could work in the RR 102 EX as a range-extender: 2 litres of volume, turbo-charging and approx. 200 HP, placed instead of the spare wheel... Either it would sound like a chain saw or like a Rolls-Royce - it could be tested...

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Historic Flight On Aloe Vera

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Milla Jovovich, Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss, Uma Thurman, Renée Zellweger - I guess the list of female supermodels who appreciate the relieving effect of aloe vera is endless... Now the passengers of Boeing airplanes can also enjoy the advantages of aloe vera in terms of airplane biofuel made of the all-time legend medicinal herb... Aloe vera biokerozine means cleaner emissions, smoother flights and a smaller carbondioxyde footprint...

Within the article below a possible fuel is also mentioned that could be made at the industrial production of steel (when coal is extracted from iron by heating and cooling by water) - I guess this new fuel is like natural gas... You have to produce steel and then carbonhydrogens are created as well - why not seize and use them? A truly ingenious and sophisticated idea to make it useful what we have...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Forging the future: A slew of biofuel successes leads to possible fuel from steel

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - A Toy For The Rich

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I think people comparing the RR 102 EX to other electric cars are wrong... It is not about Rolls-Royce building an electric Phantom because they are struggling for survival but the RR 102 EX is an option (a fashionable one) - of many alternatives that Rolls-Royce can realize in the area of environmental protection... Of course, it is serious, shows all attributes of a Rolls-Royce and it is ready to change automobile lifestyle...

I am very sorry but 200 kms of range are probably not enough in a city like New York... You cannot do without a range extender... Can inductional charging be powered from the mobile phone networks?

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Silicate 2 - The Earth Crust Returns

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In the pictures below you can see 3 things:

a) bars of gold,
b) building bricks and
c) milk...

Building bricks and gold bars cost approx. the same... If anybody can tell me why building materials in general cost this much then many are going to appreciate him or her...

Of course, milk is most valuable...

Cadillac XTS - Luxury Light

Ladies and Gentlemen,

There are 2 ways to buy a car:

a) you go into a Rolls-Royce Shop and you buy a car of your choice,
b) you collect money for something less showy...

Now me and my friends are collecting money for the new Cadillac XTS (unfortunately a hybrid version will never be available)... It is for sure however that we are moving to the USA - U.S., get ready for us...

French Cars In The USA

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The BMW PLC have got a major part of an important German carbon fiber plastic company now... If I were BMW I would definitely restart producing the beautiful Facel Vega cars of France - using this modern composite material for the bodywork...

The Facel Vega luxury cars were produced from 1954 to 1964 and they have got an undeniable American touch, too... Facel Vega have even built 4-door-coupĂ©s which type of bodywork is very popular in our modern times... As if Rolls-Royce Motor Cars had already got the rights on Facel Vega...

This French luxury car label was very successful in the 10 years of its production... Pablo Picasso and Arabian Sheiks were among the many rich and famous customers... Let's say a comfortable coupé with 2 or 4 doors and a real supersports car could be built within the scope of the marque with state-of-the-art technology, of course...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Super Economy Class

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Don't be afraid, it is about more luxury... The economy class of airplanes provided already with some interesting surprises - I have thought of a new improvement...

You could also place more or less "Family Cabins" in the economy class of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental... These Family Cabins had 2 berths for adults and 3 berths for children and most importantly they would provide with increased privacy that families might appreciate on journeys, too... Completing the Family Cabins you could also have bathrooms in the economy class - just like in youth hostels...

"What was this?"
"A Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental..."

Boeing 737 MAX - Climax

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The world's probably loveliest airplane, the Boeing 737 has reached a climax of its history in these days by the sudden orders and commitments of Lion Air and Aviation Capital Group for the Boeing 737 Next Generation and the Boeing 737 MAX... This development is no wonder all the same:

a) the spacious and elegant Boeing Sky Interior,
b) the remarkable new engines of the Boeing 737 MAX and
c) the well proved design of the Boeing 737 must have resulted in this breakthrough in aviation history...

Furthermore Lion Air and ACG seem to know that human relationships that you can create by the new airplanes are everything... I am wishing a great success and much happiness with the new infrastructure to be established... (They are flying by airplanes among the many small islands...)

Visit: Boeing.com or Boeing's New Commercial Aircraft or anything... Boeing fans are celebrating now...

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Never Ready

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If you want to buy products that are usually delivered without a wrapping you can choose among the following items:

a) car,
b) house,
c) airplane,
d) cyberspace,
e) travel or
f) education...

To my greatest surprise these are all "never ready" products, too... And they are all very valuable, too... Well, yes: also regarding the results of modern camping research the above products are all working places in some respects...

As always you have to create even your working places for yourself - what you need is a wealth of infrastructures...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Centralized Lubrication System

Ladies and Gentlemen,

A centralized lubrication system (known from lorries and trains) would allow wheels of a passenger car, too to turn around more easily and this would reduce fuel consumption again...

While trains and lorries consume more fuel each passenger cars are produced at much greater quantities so the contribution of a centralized lubrication system to a better fuel efficiency couldn't be ignored...

As it seems Rolls-Royce are going to be the most innovative luxury cars as well but it cannot be easy to exist without a serious concurrency either...

Hydrogen Factory - Pioneering Era

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If you consider that much of our household technology comes or could come from space research (light-weight liquid hydrogen tanks) and military developments (head-up-display or distance holding radars) then you can be glad that The Boeing Company (interested in both fields) deals seriously with hydrogen propulsion...

The Daimler PLC and the BMW PLC work or worked seriously on fuel cells and hydrogen combustion engines, repectively - that means we are even closer to the everyday usage of hydrogen technologies...

Whose interest might it be not to produce liquid hydrogen from the renewable solar power of deserts? Probably airborne military systems like the Phantom Eye can detect and help catch the nasty guys... "Peace is not only the absence of violance but it is the presence of justice..." (from the movie "Air Force One")

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - My Point Of View

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Let's say you used helium-filled plastic panels for the thermal isolation of the Jumbo Jet... They shouldn't only isolate the airplane against different outer temperatures but they could even give an additional uplift to the airplane - the idea is not new...

However most recently I have been thinking about how you could miracle more view into today's faster aircraft... So that traveling remains more experience than an extensive tour by the subway by keeping the advanced flight economics or improving them...

I thought that you could let helium from high-pressure bottles into the isolation panels... That way the airplane would ascend (much because you have to add to the uplift of the helium the uplift of the warm air in the pressurised parts of the airplane, too)... At greater altitudes you should even shut down the engines because they didn't have enough oxygen for functioning... And then the airplane would float and sail slower than with the propulsion of the engines - more view was granted... You could descend by pumping the helium back into the pressurised bottles...

The question is how you could supply the passengers with air securely... This is how I came to the idea that the additional uplift of the helium and of the warm cabin air spoils the flight of an aircraft in reality - and thus the plane wouldn't ascend at all because jet engines are optimized for a certain cruising altitude... Still floating and sailing are of advantage for a flight - that means you could shut down most of the engines at a lower cruising speed with more view...

However we know that if you shut down any engines then the airplane might ascend suddenly as a glider airplane... That's why you should engage the trust reverser on the engines that are on or you should engage some flaps - in order to remain in a secure height... This sounds like space flight but you shouldn't be too much surprised at the dawn of 21st Century...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Randy Is Trendy

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Mr. Randy Tinseth, vice president of the sales department of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (his Blog, Randy's Journal has got a firm place on the right side of my Blog, De la Mikula News) has been optimistic this autumn and predicted that this year might be a new rekord breaking year for the net orders for the Boeing 777... The number of orders was at that time about 132 airplanes so I did not believe his forecast - a dreamer... However the predictions of Mr. Randy Tinseth have come true now and the yearly net orders for the Boeing 777 have been increased by 50 to 182 airplanes altogether... A miracle!!!

So I guess Mr. Randy Tinseth knows something... His favourite airplane seems to be the stylish Boeing 787 Dreamliner and I can understand his enthousiasm... Carbon fiber plastic can be soooo cool actually... My favourite is the iconic Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - and from now on I will only rely on the predictions of Mr. Tinseth regarding the sales of the Queen of the Skies... Probably he can hypnotise... (And this is only the sales department of Boeing - elsewhere happen wonders, too...)

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Awakening Thoughts

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Now if an artificial or natural fur coating could keep the batteries of the RR 102 EX hot or cold then a bodywork made of appropriate textile wouldn't be only beautiful but safe, too... Easy and thick - just like an airbag with a truss... Mammoths must have protected themselves against accidents on the slippery ice as well... Wow...

The Dream Of Your Own Power Plant

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have changed my mind: for your valuable cars you need a valuable garage in general... However garages should have glass doors... In winter you could collect much heat to support the heating of your house directly - in summer you could collect even more heat and let it leave through a chimney with an electric generator within... And by this electricity you could charge the batteries of your hybrid or fully electric car...

Glass garage doors are o.k. - don't be shy...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Hydrogen Factory - Home Improvement

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Earth crust consists from 75% to 95% of silicates (SiO4) and of similar molecules (SiO2)... Out of this most frequent substance of the Earth crust you can make earthenware pottery - in which there is darkness inside... We know that darkness attracts light...

You can also spoil the pottery and make glass bottles out of silicates... These glass bottles let light through - that means the quick light leaves them easily - that means they are totally dark inside actually...

We can see that the same substance (silicium) sometimes lets light through (EM-waves or electrons) and sometimes not: that is why it is called "semi-conducting" regarding electricity... Now how can you use semi-conducting silicium for the production of the propulsion of interstellar spacecraft?

I guess when you connect a dark (light) earthenware pot with a light (dark) glass bottle light is going to start moving from the pot into the bottle... However the beginning of a movement is called "acceleration" - that means the speed of light is not constant at all and it can be accelerated by state-of-the-art technology... Such accelerated light could be used for the propulsion of interstellar spacecraft...
