The theory (unfortunately not mine) is simple and ingenious (it is going to be easy to memorise): conflicts always occure in little (that means among a few persons e.g.) - therefore you should also solve them in little, in other words at their very beginning... You shouldn't wait until conflicts excalate into a war and you shouldn't prepare for wars but for the micro-management of conflicts... You should extinguish the fire already in the paper basket and you shouldn't wait until the whole house burns...
That is why on the way towards Heaven you should build ocean-liners and cruise ships instead of aircraft carriers... In the pictures below you can see Beauties and Biests...
