The solar tower power plant concept can be also developed further by using floating chimneys that can be higher than a chimney made of steel at lower production costs at the same time... And a higher chimney means a better draft, of course... (The whole concept belongs to the eSolar Company...)
In the graphics below you can see a strongly slanting chimney (most likely created by the wind) - which could increase efficiency again as masses of air must ascend easier, too in a slanting way than in an absolutely vertical way... Just like slanting rockets ascend easier than fully vertical rockets... That's why you don't really need to keep the top of the chimney in the same position either...
