Ladies and Gentlemen,
Because of the Doppler-effect air gets thick and slow behind a car (turbulances) and thin and fast before it (an increased air resistance)... That's why you should allow air to stream from behind a car towards the front, too - this would reduce drag and you could use the additional air intake for building more efficient combustion engines...
