Ladies and Gentlemen,
If sonic booms are created at the level of molecules then they should be probably also reduced at the level of molecules... That means a supersonic aircraft doesn't need to carry a giant spear at its bow but a needle is enough as well... This is only an idea but I think you could give it a try...
I myself used to think that for example the Concorde couldn't be any more pointed - and now it could turn out that even the iconic Concorde can be more pointed...
