Life does not stand still, especially not at Boeing... The latest development of the Boeing World Design Team focuses on private jet customers... In the "Auxiliary Garage Package" the 2 outer engines of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental/Freighter VIP are replaced by 2 garages that can be lowered to earth when the airliner is parked... Either the VIP aircraft can carry 2 additional cars to the 2 cars stoved next to each other in the aft garage or the aft garage can be entirely replaced by other luxuries this way... Of course, 2 engines mean an extended range as well...
