Luxury-Spy March 6th 2011 - The Return

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental could be the first 3-deck airplane, too based on the following:

a) if you travel for 2 weeks then you don't really need more luggage than you can carry as hand luggage in a norm-size suitcase that you can stow in today's new and large hand luggage bins;
b) if you travel for 1 month then you can have your clothes landried in the hotel where you stay;
c) if you travel for 6 monthes then you have to buy clothes for yourself in your destination country...

That means you don't need large suitcases for longer intercontinental journeys either like on an ocean going vessel (you just book a flight and travel spontanously) - that means a passenger aircraft doesn't really need to have a cargo deck for the baggage of the travellers...

So you could also carry passengers on the cargo deck of the past: let us call this level "lower deck..." The lower deck of an aircraft didn't have any windows - so it could provide with extreme intimacy, romance and a travelling experience without stress just like the Boeing 747-8 Freighter VIP... On the lower deck of a Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental you could accomodate approx. 200 additional passengers (business class and economy class seatings with twin aisles) so the aircraft could carry approx. 660 travellers altogether that was really very efficient and economical... You could decorate the side walls of the lower deck with plants, water-falls or LCD-screens because the lower deck should be cozy as well...

The extension of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental by a lower deck and approx. 200 passengers you could call "CELLAR CLUB PACKAGE" for example... On ocean going vessels there are cabins without windows to the outside world as well - and is that a problem?

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
