Space Launch System x 10

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As we know it from Lady Gaga serial production (Henry Ford) is much more elevated than serial killing (Al Capone)... I think NASA could also benefit from the invention of Mr. Henry Ford...

Already the Space Transport System was planned for 10 times as many launches as realized - that's where the name "space shuttle" originates from: you lift off and you land on a tight schedule... As far as I can remember... Only that many difficulties and 2 tragedies hindered mankind from conquering space as originally planned...

I don't know how many launches of the Space Launch System that is currently being developed are planned ("as many as necessary" - official NASA release) but I had an idea: multiply the number of planned launches by 10...

That way the cost of one single launch could be reduced significantly and you had the chance for 10 times as many scientific discoveries or at least 10 times as much scientific exploration... This is the miracle of "serial production", "think big" or "discount..."

Admitedly so many spacecraft launches would mean the birth of an entirely new industry branch (compared to manufacturing), several new working places such as a new life form of mankind in space - but the unsuccess of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental warns us that such a "big leap" has got many opposers, too...

Whatever: God bless Mr. Henry Ford!

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
