Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - The Pull-Back Model

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Once you have got a flywheel energy storage in a car you could also make a pull-back car out of it... Because when the engine(s) try to drive a car forward there are also forces that pull the car back: the weight of the car, the drag etc. Now how could you collect and store the "pull-back energy" of an automobile (it functions in children's toys so nicely)...

Well, in vintage cars the front of the bodywork always lifted up during acceleration (and the rear of the car lifted up during negative acceleration, that means braking) - I guess all because of the "pull-back forces..." Modern wheel suspensions try to compensate these movements - but I don't think without investing energy in the comfort... So if you didn't invest energy into stabilizing the bodywork but you collected the energy of the movements of the car body you could have the same comfort and some energy to store and to use instead of the fuel...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
