By public demand, the Boeing Ecoliner concept launches much earlier than expected... I am proud to announce the Boeing 747-8 Ecoliner which means:
a) a Boeing 747-8IC in a 2-class seat configuration with 581 seats,
b) the Boeing Sky Interior applied to the Boeing 747-8IC and
c) a beautiful wintergarden in the SkyLoft of the Boeing 747-8IC...
The new airliner is designed to serve on short but very frequented routes bringing fewer flights and fewer airplanes in the airspace and so more safety, better fuel-efficiency (1 airplane instead of 3 airplanes) such as less noise and less air polution...
As the Boeing 747-8 Ecoliner is also capable of flying only by 2 of its 4 engines the fuel-efficiency can be improved further by appropriate flight software and pilot training...
