Ladies and Gentlemen,
In big cities busses literally fly on the separate bus lane - carrying many passengers in the most environmentally friendly way and in the most affordable way (you don't have to dig tubes for a subway...)
I used to rack my brains about how passenger cars could traffic in cities fast and with few pollution - however I think by now that the whole question setting is wrong... Instead of passenger cars more busses should traffic in cities - carrying many passengers in the most environmentally friendly and most affordable way...
Practically I mean that there could be 2 separate bus lanes on one side of a broad city road and passenger cars could only occupy the remaining lane(s)... This would mean much more public traffic in cities and much fewer passenger cars (for a modest road usage fee - because city roads are otherwise "first class roads" just like high-ways...)
Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
