The Picture Of The Enemy

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We all believe in the Kingdom of Heaven where the rules and laws of God are valid and there is no more hatred, for example... However we can observe that life is much easier and cooperation among humans is much greater in times when we have a clear picture of the enemy...

I would only like to say that I think we'll always have a picture of the enemy... Not in terms of other human beings, of course but in terms of much more abstract things:

• don't smoke, don't drink, don't use drugs,
• don't drive faster than 130 km/h on the highway,
• don't polute the environment,
• avoid overweight etc.

I have the feeling that the list of enemies is endless and we'll always find newer and newer dangers of life... In that case life will be much more simple: you only have to stand on the right side and fight the enemy in you and in the behavior of others...

In theological terms it means that in the created world there will always be more or less satan, too... I guess the more people you know and the more people you love, the more dangers you can recognize... Finally Jesus Christ is the Way that means his teachings are not the wisdom itself but only the methods to find your personal wisdom - from a certain point of view...
