Ladies and Gentlemen,
Let's analize a little the versions of the new Jumbo Jet of Boeing:
a) Boeing 747-8 Freighter: very popular - but this is a bad joke about the Queen of the Skies,
b) Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental: there is hardly any interest for the passenger version of the Jumbo Jet,
c) Boeing 747-8IC VIP: very popular - especially compared to its size and prise...
So if I were The Boeing Company I would give up fighting for new customers of the passenger version of the Boeing 747-8 and I would also stop selling the cutting-edge airliner for transportation companies... However it makes a sense to me to build on the Boeing 747-8IC VIP as the most popular large private jet for the richest enthousiasts of aviation...
There are smaller business jets, there is the ingenious Boeing Business Jet (based on the spacious Boeing 737) - and there is the Boeing 747-8IC VIP... The airliner features as a private jet approx. 4 decks: main deck, upper deck, SkyLoft and lower deck, an incredible range, an incredible noise level and space without end... I think that the VIP version of the Jumbo Jet of Boeing is now the main stream of the production of the legendary airliner...
VIP airplanes could be probably even more popular if you could live on them longer - the only problem with living on a VIP jet is the airports surrounding the machine with their noise, seas of concrete and heavy traffic... So airports could be completed by an area for VIP jets: a little further away from the passenger traffic, decorated by trees and flowers and with an own and calm entrance... Thus you could live on your large private jet the whole year long enjoying both privacy and freedom of flight and the services of the airport (runways, hangars, maintainance teams etc.)...
Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
