The Boeing Tower would be a lighthouse - that could perk up any harbor city... The height of the lighthouse is still undifined... 1 or 4 General Electric jet engines could provide with a lighting jet stream that could be seen from far away and that could make orientation easier in the surroundings... To increase the light effects the jet engines could maybe have an afterburner, too...
The power of the jet engines could be turned into electricity by electric generators - so that the jet fuel doesn't go to waste entirely and this arrangement could also improve the stability of the tower... Electricity has to be made out of something, it can be also jet biofuel or hydrogen...
