Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Safety First

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Is a large airplane like the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental more secure than a smaller jet - surely it is... Let's see an example: a continent is also much more secure than an island... On a continent you have got more of everything: more human civilization, more food and other resources and more shelter... That's why in case of emergency and if anything goes wrong you have got much better chances for survival on a continent than on an island, of course...

Maybe the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental has got ideal sizes for a large airplane: it is large enough to be indistructable - but it is not a monster either... In aviation size means:

a) calmness (the airplane is not set out to and tossed by winds),
b) large and therefore strong parts and
c) less airplanes in the aerospace etc.

That's why airlines "prefering" the Boeing 777 or the Airbus A380 to the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental is illogical, unrealistic and dangerous to me...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
