Ladies and Gentlemen,
The difference between cars and much more fuel efficient airplanes is that cars don't sail at all - that means they don't use the powers of nature... 2 possibilities of increasing the energy efficiency of cars:
a) The range of 200 kms of the RR 102 EX means the following: 2 x 100 kms on a very busy business day in a city, that is 4 hours on the roads + you could park an electric car for 2 x 4 hours in the sun = 12 hours in the sun... Considering that the RR 102 EX needs 20 hours to be fully charged from the home power grid it could absolutely make a sense to cover the horizontal surfaces of the electric Rolls-Royce with solar panels...
b) I have already heard about brake systems of a maximum output of 1,000 HP - I wonder what the output of the suspension system of a 2.7 ton car might be? Car engines don't only need to move a car forward but there is an up and down motion even on the best roads - every car is a little bit of an offroader... Considering an electro-magnetic wheel suspension the batteries could be also charged by the up and down motion of the wheels while the engine moves the car forward...
Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
