Ladies and Gentlemen,
Maybe you could make an airplane from the Boeing 767-400 that answers the demands on a sonic cruiser airliner... You should simply lower the 2 jet engines of the airplane from the wings in a significant way so that they generate more "torque" that means more thrust... O.k., the Boeing 767-400 has got no delta-wings (little drag and much surface) - then it should fly like a rocket after a take-off supported by the conventional wings: much thrust and hardly any wings...
The advantages of the Sonic Cruiser Concept:
a) high capacity (240 passengers);
b) higher cruising speed + less stops because of a better fuel economy = sophisticated luxury...
And the Boeing 767-400 Sonic Cruiser could be perked up by the new Sky Interior as well...
Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
