Ladies and Gentlemen,
Clutch discs are reinforced by springs - a really ingenious and simple way to make the material of the discs more flexible; clutch discs are made of very simple but strong composite materials... I think you could use such composite materials based on springs to reinforce structures everywhere: in car bodies, in airplanes or in buildings...
Two-deck airplanes where the stairs may function as springs are probably even stronger than single-deck airplanes... Or if you just don't like the curvature of the Jumbo Jet's fuselage when you remove the crown space in order to replace it by a glass cupola then you could reinforce the little bit curved fuselage by little springs in an elegant way...
Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
