It is a very old tradition of car design that glove boxes are supposed to be relatively small - in order to be "elegant..." And they are still very small... As far as I know in the Porsche Carrera used to be no glove box at all...
I was longing for a car in which the glove compartment is large enough for a laptop computer or a backpack... I guess you had the space for such a sumptous glove compartment in the front of every passenger car...
However most recently (tonight) I have changed my mind and my expectations... I am longing for relatively small and elegant glove compartments... I am not telling you either what these little jewel boxes are good for... But you can be sure that they provide with the biggest freedom in your car...
