Ladies and Gentlemen,
My "bio-reactor" concept would function like this:
a) You have to soak a piece of wood with as much water as possible - for example a big wooden block should have pipelines within...
b) As the piece of wood soaks up the water it extends...
c) Now: a certain measure of extension = a certain measure of thermal energy (like in case of thermal extension)...
d) However a piece of wood on which you pour water doesn't really get warmer therefore: a certain measure of extension = a certain measure of electric energy (there are not really other types of energy but extension means additional inner energy)...
e) When the wet piece of wood dries out you can lead away the electricity that is getting free...
If such a "bio-reactor" or rather "bio-battery" really worked then its way of functioning could be explained as follows: the fibers of wood can slide on each other like the fibers of muscle... When a piece of wood takes up water it stores energy like when muscles grow and when a piece of wood dries out and shrinks it does work like when you flex your muscles...
As a piece of wood extends much more when it is soaked by water than e.g. when a piece of iron gets heated or at least the same much and you don't even need to transmit serious energy into charging a piece of wood I guess the "bio-battery" receives its energy from a mysterious source... Actually when a piece of matter extends its atoms move more and more until its physical condition changes... And when you make a piece of wood wet then its physical condition changes from solid to a little bit dissolved - and waves appear within...
So you only have to select the right materials to make an elegant and most likely absolutely environmentally friendly "bio-reactor..."
