Ladies and Gentlemen,
Here you have my idea for a super-mini sandwich floor for passenger cars... This sandwich floor would be only 2 cm thick still it could accomplish the following functions:
a) strengthening of the car body (even if at the price of some overweight),
b) protecting the car from cold from the direction of the ground,
c) providing with space for electric batteries of a hybrid drive-train,
d) reducing of the noise level inside of the car...
In the first versions of passenger cars with a sandwich floor you could carry coal for the boilers, modern vehicles with only a partial sandwich floor (Mercedes B-class and V-class) are much more successful than their predecessors...
