JDLM Unveils Skyscraper Hangar Concept

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The 300 hangars belonging to the Southern Sky Palace could compose a skyscraper, too - in order to take away less ground surface from nature and to reduce the landscape of concrete to a minimum... Skyscrapers should be also the most cost-efficient buildings - most likely in terms of hangars as well...

The aircraft should be stored on 100m x 100m large platforms with 30m high ceilings and in the middle of 4 such platforms there could be the aircraft-lift... For 300 hangars you would need 75 levels in the skyscraper... I think such a skyscraper hangar would be possible using state-of-the-art steel alloys and some modern theories...

The Southern Sky Palace planned for the plains of Argentina didn't have a major highlight until now that every tidy palace should feature... Now my motivated little team and I have found out that the Southern Sky Palace shouldn't only have the usual 4 skyscrapers of a height of 800 m but it should have a huge airport as a highlight as well...

GOOGLE SCHOLAR - The Scientific Research Programs Is Here

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I used to have the wish that home computers and the internet should be used to quite serious scientific work as well - not only for computer games, web versions of printed magazines or adult content... Office program packages and online communication platforms are the way towards serious scientific work on your PC...

And now Google Scholar is there to seek actual scientific material in the databases of researchers, research institutions, libraries and schools for intellectual work... I guess by the Google Scholar worldwide intellectual work will be more interactive, powerful and effective by connecting the brains of scientific workers...

I still miss:
a) a data analisys software;
b) a development software from the core ideas to ready computer models of products;
c) and of course a customizable interface to comprehend all the above into even more helpful Research Programs...

However internet-supported scientific research is still at the very beginning and I am of course immensely grateful to the creators of Google Scholar for their courageous step towards the valuable and intellectually profitable usage of our valuable home computers and of the internet... Hydrogen Factory - Theories About The Price Of Hydrogen Technologies

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I know about 2 major theories about the pricing of hydrogen itself and of related technologies:

1) Hydrogen technologies come mostly from space research (fuel tanks, enrichment of the hydrogen flame with oxygen in order to improve efficiency, fuel cells etc.) or they are cutting-edge in an other way (cars with hydrogen-fuelled combustion engines or airplanes with hydrogen-fuelled jet engines could be used for 50 years as you cannot really enhance these technologies any more etc.) - so vehicles based on hydrogen technologies would represent a much greater value than vehicles based on crude oil products... Therefore prices that are the 10-fold of prices of crude-oil-based technologies could be explained and appropriate...

2)

a) I believe that hydrogen technologies wherever they come from should compose a global and elementary infrastructure by which you could experience other people and discover the wonders of the world without regrets and with a really clean environmental consciousness... Clean and fresh air and an atmosphere without too many greenhouse gases just belong to the healthy and undangerous living environment of humans and of other species on Earth... Therefore these otherwise really valuable creations belong to "our daily bread" that we cannot do without and they should be more and more common and affordable in the future of mankind...

b) In other words: line production can make hydrogen technologies affordable, too so that more customers can buy them more easily and the ventures dealing with hydrogen technologies have got at least the same profit, too... On the other hand crude-oil-based technologies threat to kill us one day because of the greenhouse effect - that means you cannot sell dangerous garbage any more but only healthy and valuable hydrogen technologies... Mankind has to change again like we changed from horse-carriages to steam engines and then from steam engines to electric locomotions - I think the time of crude oil is over, too and 21st Century must be the start of sustainable energies...

Of course, it is the market that decides about technologies and their prices... It is the customers who decide whether they want to store objects of immense market value in their garages and elsewhere or whether they want to live nearly free in the hydrogen infrastructure and to invest their money in things that we cannot even imagine yet... As Jesus Christ teaches deal with your fortune in a clever way...

In a few words about the "STRATOFORTRESS PACKAGE for airplanes with 2 jet engines" (-SFP-2E)...

The SFP-2E is based on the same theories of aviation and of astrophysics as the SFP for airplanes with 4 jet engines - the difference there is within the technical solutions... The key component of SFB-2E is namely the so called "Power Aircondition Propulsion" (PAP) next to the electric generators in the first stream of the turbofan engines...

PAP functions as follows: The inlet and outlet openings of the aircondition are connected by one single pipe on each side of the airplane... The aircondition consumes the fresh air from this pipe, too... However at the end of this pipe there is an electric magnet around the pipe... Now as every molecule of the air has got more or less polarity the electromagnetic field can keep back the air in the pipe as a constriction that becomes more and more tight as the electromagnetic field becomes stronger... That means that the air in the pipe leaves the electromagnetic field faster and faster and it becomes a stronger and stronger jet of air - that could possibly even propel the aircraft... The jet of air from the exhaust opening of the main pipe of the aircondition is supposed to be strong indeed bacause the energy from the electric generators in the turbofan engines doesn't get lost but only transforms as we know it... By the way as the air in the main pipe of the aircondition gets thick with the electric magnet on the aircondition has got a better and better air supply as well... That is why the above is called the "Power Aircondition Propulsion..."

STATE-OF-THE-ART March 14th 2011

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Let's suppose NASA scientists succeed in solving the mystery of interstellar space flights in a far future... I am talking about a mystery because interstellar space flights are impossible theoretically but many people dream of them after all - trains, automobiles or airplanes must have been science-fiction as well before they were invented... Maybe you need only a small modification of actual physical theories to reach a completely different view of the creation and to see opportunities instead of borders...

And then NASA would share its knowledge with other space agencies, of course... So that the European Space Agency and its allied partners could build huge and cubic tourist spacecraft (for approx. 2000 or 3000 passengers) and NASA could build smaller and larger scientific research spacecraft (larger research spacecraft: approx. 1000 passengers, flying saucer unit of a diameter of 240 x 160 meters)...

The big question is how can you attract more scientists to the US-built research spacecraft and to scientific work than the cubic tourist spacecraft can attract holiday or business travelers? Because it would be obviously of advantage for the USA to sell and to operate, respectively many of its research spaceships economically and it would be obviously of advantage for the entire mankind to have more scientists in outer space than tourists as science should be the leading power of humans after all...

If you can build secure and reliable spacecraft then they won't be the source for adventures and you can also imagine that there are more intellectual adventures on inhabited or uninhabited planets than in the outer space because of the society of other intelligent species or just life in general... So what else can you use space for than simple journeys among planets and what is the point in space research at all? O.k., there is much starlight in outer space and you can study and interprete constellations as well - but I am afraid that so much intellectual guidance is really not enough to make space research the leading power of mankind...

I think it is high time for a brain-storming about the meaning of interstellar space research with an emphasis on mere space... What might be possibly interesting in living and working in outer space? (A little help: I also think that you can find out the meaning of space research already in the orbit of Earth - so on the International Space Station and on Space Shuttle flights - and you can also practice basic skills in the orbit of Earth that could be useful and necessary for space research everywhere in the universe...)

Luxury-Spy March 14th 2011 - No Return

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In a few words about the "STRATOFORTRESS PACKAGE" for The Boeing Company...

Aircraft cruising at altitudes of approx. 35,000 feet are orbiting Earth in a very low orbit - you can analyse the energetics of this extraordinary space flight the way you want but it is a fact that aircraft in the stratosphere already orbit our planet... It is very interesting naturally how they can do that at a so low cruising speed?

I think the low cruising speeds (compared to real spacecraft) result from forcing the airplanes to a forward motion instead of an upward motion... That means theoretically that if you shut down 2 or 3 engines of 4 ones the airplane should gain height and speed (we are speaking about astrophysics)... Of course, you could fly with jet engines only as high as the thicker atmosphere reaches - airplanes don't use rocket engines... Despite of all your optimism for development you have got the feeling that an airplane with only 1 or 2 engines on instead of 4 ones could only reach average altitudes at the most - why is that?

Well, if a spacecraft doesn't ascend and it doesn't descend either then there is a balance in the forces affecting on it... In the case of jet airplanes it must be about a balance between the propelling forces and the air resistance - because it is still about atmospheric flights and not about the outer space... If this is true then it made a sense to turn air resistance into propulsion and then you could gain height and speed actually...

Technically you should/could use a "hybrid propulsion" in order to turn air resistance into propulsion... That means you could install electric engines in the first stream of the turbofan jet engines which you could also use as electric generators (I don't think you need any batteries at all)... And then you could use the electricity produced in the 3 shut down jet engines functioning as generators to drive the electric engine in one of the turbofan jet engines...

The above technology would result in higher altitudes and higher speeds without burning any fuel in the jet engines but using only electric power to fly... That means you could cruise around the Earth as long as the water and food reserves of the airplane reach out... Therefore the "STRATOFORTRESS PACKAGE" (based on the "EXTENDED RANGE PACKAGE") is recommended mostly for VIP customers who probably don't want to land for days...

WARNING! The theories below might be absolutely crazy as well - so don't try them on your own private jets until the aviation authorities give you permission... Thank you!

Once upon a time that means in the early phase of avionics there used to be double-wing airplanes as well, most often with only one engine... But this single engine was enough because you had lots of uplift on the excessive wing surfaces so that the airplane could fly - securely and in a fuel-efficient way...

Modern large aircraft have got most commonly 4 jet engines because of security considerations and in order to have an excessive propulsion... And then it is commonly known that you can start with only 3 good engines, too and you can stay in the air with only 2 good engines of 4 ones... However I have got 3 theories based on the old-fashioned double-wing aircraft that deliver different results...

1st theory: The let's say 4 jet engines of a large aircraft cause a huge acceleration forward - but this might be the wrong direction as you want to fly by your airplane upward, too... As you have got oversized wing surfaces on every aircraft you could have enough uplift at a slower forward acceleration, too... That means either you move quickly forward or you ascend in the skies...

2nd theory: If you accelerate strongly forward then the air underneath the wings is faster - but that means it is thinner, too... And thinner air means less uplift in the end... So a quick forward acceleration is in vain according to this theory...

3rd theory: You can also sail by every aircraft for a shorter or longer while - aircraft are designed this way with an oversized wing surface... In the lower and thicker layers of the air you only need less speed to sail obviously... So you only need to add a very little vector of speed and of direction to the standing aircraft so that it ascends from the ground and sails...

That is why I think the following: If you tried to start by a 4-engine aircraft with only 1 or - sure is sure - 2 engines on then the acceleration was painfully slow and the pilots had probably an uncertain feeling... But what if this uncertain feeling was already the uplift awakening uncommonly early and throwing the aircraft in all directions? Then you only had to trim the elevators upward and to use this uplift and to fly suddenly in the air just like a helicopter with a certain exaggaration...

So you could start and fly even by a large aircraft with only 1 or 2 engines on and you could land sailing just like the Space Shuttle - all of these in an extremely fuel-efficient way compared to using all 4 engines of the aircraft... Of course, in our modern times you didn't only need to train the pilots to fly with only so few engines on but you would also need a software onboard the aircraft that coordinated and directed and harmonized these few-engine and fuel-saving flights in an expectedly sovereign way...

I would call the necessary pilot training and the software for few-engine flights the "EXTENDED RANGE PACKAGE..."

Once the full-double-deck and two-engine Ecoliner concept of Boeing ever gets built then it could belong to the legendary 747 Family, too... Because the innovative Ecoliner concept also shares the qualities of performance, elegance, economical efficiency and environmental friendliness with the traditional 747 jetliners... That means the Ecoliner is not a competitor of the iconic 747 design but a completion and an extension to the largest aircraft of Boeing... The Ecoliner's additional space, excellent fuel- and cost-efficiency and operational flexibility (both middle- and long-range flight possibilities) would shed a positive light on the name/word/concept Jumbo Jet... On the other hand the well-deserved prestige of the 747 Family could miracle away the strictly rational and far too modest image of the Ecoliner...

So I think that the iconic Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental and the evergreen and modern Boeing 747-X Ecoliner simply belong in the same category... "Nomen est omen" - according to the saying...

Hydrogen Factory - The Energy Density Of Liquid Hydrogen

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As far as I can remember I learned at high-school in the chemistry class that crude oil products burn at temperatures at about 900 degrees Celsius and hydrogen gas burns at temperatures at about 2700 degrees Celsius - so that you can even weld by hydrogen gas... That the flame of hydrogen has got approx. 3 times of the temperature of the flame of crude oil products means to me that you can heat up a combustion chamber by the same amount of hydrogen gas 3 times as much as by crude oil products... That means to me that hydrogen gas has got 3 times of the energy density of crude oil products... If you make liquid hydrogen out of hydrogen gas then you have the same energy in a much-much smaller volume...

You can hear everywhere that "hydrogen was in love with oxygen" in terms of water - but if you lead electricity in the water (electrolysis) then hydrogen and oxygen just part after all... Certainly you need much electricity to dissociate hydrogen and oxygen but you receive back the same energy when you use the hydrogen in a fuel cell or in a combustion engine... The much energy that you need to dissociate water only means that hydrogen gas or liquid hydrogen can store lots of energy...

Of course, you should produce liquid hydrogen mostly by using solar power - that is the sustainable energy of deserts and of the blazing sun... By now there are many technologies to capture the energy within sunlight... And there are technologies for the secure and affordable storage of liquid hydrogen, too - such as the external fuel tank of the Space Shuttles developed in the 1970's...
