Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Stretch-Retract-Engines

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Very recently I have been thinking about the new Stretch-Retract-Engine (SRE) option for the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental... SRE means that you can stretch the jet engines of an airplane from the wings hydraulicly in order to reach a greater "torque" = greater power output = higher speed and you can also retract the engines when less power and a lower speed are enough...

This flexible configuration of the engines and that way of the entire airplane means that you have got 2 airplanes in one: a faster jetliner when a higher capacity is needed depending on different routes or different passenger demands and a slower jetliner, too when a more modest cruising speed is enough - which means more security and certainly a more pleasant travel experience...

However the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental doesn't need to be perked up by SREs - the majestic airliner is already fast enough through its new and curved wings which prevent it from disturbing upward accelerations as a part of the construction... The Boeing Ecoliner or Sonic Cruiser concepts could benefit from the SRE-technology so that the powerful Boeing World of Aviation based on the 747 infrastructure is completed by flexibility, joy and attention...

Boeing 787 Dreamliner - Aviation's New DNA

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Within the official news release of The Boeing Company you can read about all advantages and marvels of the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner: the pioneer work of engineers and factory-workers, the accurate testing and the dazzling result that opens a new era in the history of flight...

What you cannot read about in the statement of The Boeing Company is me... I have serious doubts now whether I shouldn't have ordered Boeing 787 Dreamliners instead of the legendary Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental... I put most of my trust in traditional elegance, luxury and splendour and I nearly ignored the results of modern plastic injection moulding...

As all human beings have got an importance in our society just because they are unique I still hope that my aircraft fleets consisting mostly of Boeing 747-8 Intercontinentals will be also useful and lovable... Style cannot be replaced by anything and probably it is going to be more and more important as the population of the Earth grows (up)...

So I think it is really interesting to find out if potential Rolls-Royce customers deem the RR 102 EX lovable or not... The RR 102 EX is in many respects different than cars of the 20th Century - however Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as an expert can only offer vehicles that have got a future as well... Like it or not...

By certain modifications of the GPS navigation system and of the air suspension of a car you could reduce its fuel consumption dramatically... Even interstellar journeys are possible this way (worm-hole)...

As we know it the side mirrors of a car can lift the vehicle from the ground, too... However I guess that is too much hovering already and the car loses traction that way... That is why a 4-wheel-drive is recommended for all cars with side mirrors...

Obviously elegance and being practical are the same important as space...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Once again about a possible station wagon version of the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Phantom models... I think the most elegant and dramatic solutions could be installed underneath the hatchback of these station wagon versions - such as:

a) a chandalier to illuminate parties,
b) a red carpet for representative purposes or
c) a stage for spontaneous addressing your fans...

Although a Rolls-Royce "with a garden connection" would be a Barock solution as well...

The previously most recognized airliner of the world, the Boeing 747 would like to remain the favourite flying machine of its customers... Therefore the successor of the legendary Jumbo Jets is going to be called Boeing 747-800 afterwards... With this little change in the airplane's name The Boeing Company would like to express the high capacity, comfort and progressive nature of the new Boeing 747 - familiar with so many operators and passengers...

By the way passengers: all future passengers of the Boeing 747-800 Intercontinental are going to be registered in the Boeing Book Of Excellence - ethernizing the friendship between the airliner and its enthousiasts...

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Off-Roader

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Very large airplanes can take off and land among skyscrapers and very close to the sea as well - this is an everyday practice... Then it is only a question of being determined if a very large airplane can take off and land among high mountains, too...

Environmental protection is getting more and more important... However mountain regions don't want to remain too rural either as people live there, too as we know it... Establishing flights of very large airplanes seems to be the right solution both for economy (high capacity) and environment (fewer flights)... Not to mention that additional air traffic next to railways and highways means more security, too...

I guess the marvel of arriving and departing of a Jumbo Jet over the majestic mountains could be a unique and exciting experience both for tourists and local inhabitants...

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Mystery

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Rolls-Royce is mysterious... The facility in Goodwood is going to be extended - does it mean that we can await a final assembly line for the RR 102 EX? It wouldn't be such a big surprise regarding over 224,000 Likes on Facebook... Even HRM Queen Elizabeth II used to complain that a Rolls-Royce was too showy for Her - meaning probably social sensibility... An environmentally friendly Phantom would mean social sensibility as well...

I used to think a lot about what is the connection between a Rolls-Royce and a BMW? I think it is the experience: solemn and sportive... A relatively small Rolls-Royce could be produced based on the BMW 7 series: elegant but more affordable, modest and fuel efficient... However I fell in love with the expression "Inspired By Goodwood..." This way the entire model range of the BMW Group could be perked up and Rolls-Royce motor cars remained a mystery...

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Tuning

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Steering wheels are also wheels which separate and lift, respectively the car from its power train - everybody agrees that it is much easier to drive a car with a steering wheel than without... This means that the steering meachanism of a car is always much stronger than its power train (e.g. 501, 570 or 626 HP) - otherwise you couldn't steer the car... Actually you could steer a car with 2 fingers...

Steering mechanisms are this strong without any engine, any fuel etc. - that means only based on their construction and design... In other words much energy is accumulated in such a steering mechanism - which could be tapped probably in order to avoid disturbing vibrations when you don't use the entire force of the steering mechanism...

Rolls-Royce Ghost And Phantom - Further Wheel Options

Ladies and Gentlemen,

TATRA trucks in the below pictures that I know from my childhood and that used to make me crazy have got more or less wheels that are strongly slanting towards the inside of the lorries... This solution which is not easy to understand for first has got 2 advantages:

a) Slanting wheels are following the curvature of the Earth not only in the driving direction of the lorries but also in a side direction... This means that such wheels lift the car once again from the ground so that it hovers higher and you need less energy to move it than in general...
b) Of course, slanting wheels are also like a railway on roads with a saddling that doesn't only mean safety but also that the wheels on just one side of the lorry are used when the the vehicle is moving...

"Chopper bicycles" must be the most comfortable bikes in the world - only I don't know if they still belong to heavy industry...

Rolls-Royce Ghost And Phantom - Supersoft

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Not that a Rolls-Royce Ghost or Phantom are not soft enough but their wheels could be like those of Formula 1 racing cars... The explanation is the following:

a) The "molly" wheels of Formula 1 racing cars are both lighter and stronger than common light metal alloy wheel-rims with thinner and thinner tyres... In the shell structure of Formula 1 tyres there are much more air and less metal than in everyday wheels that is why they are lighter and stronger...
b) The above benefit of Formula 1 wheels is very important because you don't have to move the entire car with the engine - only the wheels... And then the lighter and stronger wheels are of advantage...
c) It is the whole sense of wheels that they lift a car from the ground that makes it much easier to move the vehicle as if you had to pull or push it... The car hovers and so you only have to move the wheels...

Rolls-Royce motor cars are famous for their huge wheels so optional extra light and strong wheels could reduce the power you need to move the vehicles and so the fuel consumption as well in a significant way... Or they could increase the top speed of the luxury cars... As there must be beauty and elegance as well the inner part of the huge tyres could be painted white in tradition of classical automobiles...

Formula 1 car racing is known as the space research of automobile industry - so why not use its results?
